Our Story

Purvis Fish & Chips was opened in 2021 in the midst of covid, the owner was 18 years old when she took on this adventure and is continuing to strive. The restaurant has a lighthouse lookout in the centre of the building that overlooks the marina in Gore bay, and is full of life and character. The restaurant is covered in décor that was once upon a time used in the fishery anywhere from the late 1800s to the early 1900s, the walls are covered in pictures from the family fishery in the early 1900s to the late 1900s.
